School Advisory Board

The School Advisory Board ia a policy formulating body formed for the purpose of supporting and implementing the philosophy of Catholic education of St. Margaret Mary Catholic School. The Advisory board consists of three ex-officio members, the pastor, the principal, a McHenry County Board of Education representative, and nine lay members who serve three-year terms. Monthly meetings are the second Tuesday of the month, and all parents are invited to attend. School policies recommended by the board and approved by the Pastor are labeled as such in the school handbook.

3SI, or the Third Source Income Committee, is always looking for exciting ways to raise additional income from alternative sources. A major 3SI fundraising event each year is the Art Auction (on March 5, 2011), as well as our annual Trivia Night (held each November), which continues to grow in popularity. If you have ideas or would like to volunteer, contact Mike Smith (847-458-5850).
